The higher the KEI, the more attractive the keyword may be.

The Keyword researcher checks popularity of seed list of keywords, enables research on how those exact keywords are used in longer search terms to further enhance PPC conversion as well as enables research how keywords can be combined and ordered to give you more.

Keyword Discovery - Overview

With a Web-based interface, developed by Trellian Pty Ltd, and a database of over 36 Billion searches tracked over 12 months, KeywordDiscovery is one of the most comprehensive keyword research service available. It identifies the keywords that customers are searching and/or using, related keywords, common spelling mistakes as well as how keywords are impacted by seasonal search trends. How Keyword Discovery Works

Search for Keywords

Step 1 - Click on the Research button.

Step 2 - Enter a search term in the Term field. The search terms can be in the following languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Finnish, Swedish, Dutch and Italian.

Step 3 - Select the number of results to be displayed per page from the drop down menu

Step 4 - Click the Search button. The searches column displays the number of searches for the keyword over the last 12 months for Global premium and the regional databases. Historical Global and the global premium historical database is from June 2005 to present. Regional historical, ebay, shopping, news, google and yahoo from August 2006 to present. Overture databases display searches figures for the month of January 2007.

Analyzing the Results

The keyword research tool will return the keywords listed by the number of searches in descending order. To display further information about the keywords by clicking the Analyze button in the toolbar, or the button underneath the results.

Charts

To display various charts of the searches, click on the chart icons next to the searches column. The chart type can be changed between historical (shows weekly data), monthly and trend. The market share chart shows the percentage of searches performed on various search engines. All chart data is from the global premium database.

Projects
Projects are lists of keywords that can be saved for later use. To display the project manager, click the Projects button in the toolbar. A default project exists for each user and cannot be deleted. Trial users are limited to a single project, standard users are limited to 20 projects, and enterprise users are unlimited. Projects are limited to 10,000 keywords, except for trial users who are limited to 10 terms.
